The Tricore Plus system offers all the protection of the Duocore Plus model with the added benefit of alkalising the water. Utilising state of the art technology the Aquifer Tricore Plus systems provide unsurpassed protection from thousands of chemicals and water borne contaminants plus a host of potentially lethal bacteria and cysts including Cryptosporidium and Giardia just to name a few. The unit comes supplied with three state of the art filter cartridges. The pre-sediment filter (Micropol CC) is a dual core cartridge with a 1 micron pleated polypropylene outer shell and a 0.5 micron activated coconut shell sintered carbon inner core. The second cartridge (Microshield) is a 0.5 micron nano-silver sintered carbon block designed specifically to remove contaminants such as petrochemicals, pesticides and bacteria. The third cartridge (Alkaline+) contains 0.5 micron bamboo with minerals to remineralise and alkalise the water.

The Tricore Plus is designed to be connected to a potable water source such as town supplied mains water. All Aquifer products include “Leach Safe” technology as standard. There is simply no point filtering out contaminants when the filter may leach its own contaminants back into the water. Aquifer water filters are constructed using safe plastics which are free from Bisphenol-A (an endocrine disrupter) and guaranteed not to leach toxic chemicals back into the water like other systems are known to do. The Tricore Plus system comes complete with three long life cartridges (pictured) and is supplied with a deluxe faucet and all necessary installation hardware as standard.
