White sage or grandfather sage as it is often referred to, was originally used by Indigenous American Indians to purify one's emotional, psychic, and spiritual state. Used at the beginning of space clearings to banish unwanted negative energy from a person or room, the smoke attaches itself to negative energy and as it clears, it takes the negative energy with it (thus the importance of opening the windows during the ritual). A must tool for any Feng Shui and Sacred Space consultant.

Used since ancient times, frankincense is commonly used for meditation as it slows down the breathing as well as religious practises to provide protection to a space. Ideal to use when you wish to clear a malevolent energy from a room.
