Why are they different?

Safe-T-bottle stainless steel bottles are made from hospital grade 304 stainless steel. They contain no plastic lining, aluminium, bisphenol-a, phthalates, plasticizers or polycarbonate. They are safe, ultra light and incredibly robust. Many steel and aluminium bottles are lined with plastic. This defeats the purpose of owning a steel bottle. Furthermore some metal bottles have an aluminium thread in the mouth piece which may release aluminium particles everytime you open and close the lid. This bottle is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
