This organic white sage was harvested and bound in Australia. Originating from Indigenous American Indian traditions, the burning of sage smudge sticks is used by many religious and healing groups to purify one's emotional, psychic, and spiritual state. Used at the beginning of space clearings to banish unwanted negative energy from a person or room, the smoke attaches itself to negative energy and as it clears it takes the negative energy with it (thus the importance of opening the windows during the ritual).
