This credit card sized UV card changes from white to purple when exposed to UV radiation (wavelengths of light between 290-325 nm) the frequencies of which are known to cause sunburn. The stronger the radiation, the darker the shade of purple. Simply compare with the colour matching chart provided to see the corresponding "likelihood of sunburn" warning. Guidelines on the card allow you to determine the sun-screen SPF level required at the time. The card changes back to its original colour within minutes and
